The Milton District Hospital expansion was being built to meet the increasing care needs of Canadas fastest growing community and accommodate new technologies that are changing the way hospital care is delivered. The project added 330,000 sq. ft. of new patient-centred space, more than tripling the size of the hospital. The architect had amazing vision to install a modern single sided custom fireplace and have a dramatic entrance as you walk into the lobby waiting area. This 12 foot long single sided custom fireplace was installed in a brand new renovation project for Milton District Hospital Expansion project in Milton, Ontario, Canada. The single sided custom fireplace is installed with cool to touch glass system for public safety. The custom fireplace makes a real impact in the lobby with a stunning fire feature and makes the hospital feel more like home.
